Princess Street Retirement Community located in Kingston, Ontario. The facility is a 7 storey building comprised of 165 suites.  The concrete structure with dual partial basement area provides 112 independent living suites with a mixture of studios, 1 bedroom and 2 bedroom units as well as 23 enhanced penthouse suites with full kitchen facilities and 30 assisted living suites. Amenities include an elegant dining room with wine service, breakfast bistro, library, bar/lounge & games room, computer/internet stations, an indoor pool, fitness and recreation facilities as well as a spa/salon, theatre, chapel and housekeeping services. In addition, the 2nd floor is exclusive for assisted living residents with dedicated amenity spaces that includes dining, lounge, activity, outdoor terrace and assisted bathing.  Exterior cladding is comprised of architectural block, eifs systems with acrylic mouldings, window and curtain wall assemblies with mansard roof system at the high level. A roof top mechanical penthouse with roof top screens enclose the 4 roof top units and large chiller system. Each suite is composed of independent heating and cooling pumps with suite dedicated thermostats. A general building automation system is located in the basement, ground and second floor common spaces.  The Community is 163,783 sq. ft. which includes at grade parking for residents, staff and guests as well as dedicated shuttle bus parking. The exterior grounds are heavily landscaped allowing for large plant areas, the use of unit paving in large outdoor seating areas, outdoor gazebos, and concrete walkways provide residences exterior spaces to keep fit and enjoy the outdoor grounds.
